For our 200th post on the new-look Albam blog, it seems fitting to write about something new to us. As we wrote yesterday, we’ve just received our first ever delivery from Dr. Martens – a fantastic British brand that’s been releasing a succession of great mens styles over the last few seasons.

The teams are unpacking a tantalising new delivery as I type: a new brand for us here at Albam, we’ve just started stocking a small, choice selection of Dr Martens.
We’ve been eyeing up the offerings from the guys at DM for a while now, and finally couldn’t help ourselves. We’ve got three great styles available to begin with – photos …

Showing a wonderful collection of both contemporary and traditional artefacts, the exhibition charts the progression of Modern Japanese living spaces from Post …

A bit of a guest Legend today, nominated by our good friend Mat at our graphic designers (and bastions of taste) Modern Designers:
Legends? In design there are some greats: Finn Juhl, Bob Gill and Paul Rand spring to mind. There are a few others that deserve a mention but, for me, Massimo Vignelli gets the all-time legend award. …

Good news: we’ve just marked down a bunch of styles to rock-bottom prices! Some are current styles, some are styles that were already in the sale, but are now available at even lower prices. You can click on the images to the right to see their new prices, but there’re plenty more pieces that’ve been marked down – you can …

Had a nice visit with the teams at Beak Street and Upper Street yesterday. The stores were looking great – you can see a few snaps to the right.
All the styles you can see in the photos are available both online and at all three of our stores.
