Style Notes | Tux Shirt in Night Spot

In amongst this week’s new deliveries was a bit of an exciting arrival for us: our first printed shirt fabric. We’re quite geeky about the fabrics we use, so this was a Big Day for us.

Created from a premium narrow-width selvedge cotton fabric, the Tux Shirt in Night Spot has been woven on a traditional Japanese loom. It’s polka dot design has been produced by a silk screen printing process, resulting in a delicate all over pattern and a super soft feel, which we’ve encouraged by rinse washing each garment.

The classic red and white selvedge stripe forms a clean, natural finish to the fabric and sits as a gentle compliment to the indigo and white colourway (we think so, anyway). The selvedge detail has been used on the hangloop, the interior of the placket and on the hem of the side vents.

So to summarise: it’s all about the fabric. I mean, the shirt’s a winner all day long, but that Japanese screen printed and woven fabric? Forgedabowdit.

And that’s not all – you can pick a Tux Shirt (or any other clothing style for that matter) on with 10% off until the end of this week: just type in the code ‘facebook_10′ at the checkout before midnight on Sunday to get your discount.
